Yarrow’s flavour is licorice-like with a bitter and astringent finish. Our harvest technique focuses on collecting the flower heads with a little bit of leaf and stem.  Yarrow has a very long history of use in early and modern human civilization. Yarrow is also reputed to have insecticidal and antimicrobial properties.
