Summer Savoury

Description

Summer savoury has a flavour that is similar to thyme but more spicy and piney. Summer savoury is good for seasoning beans and meats. The robust flavour that savoury imparts to foods is also the source of the generic reference to flavourful foods as ‘savoury’. It is also a key ingredient to the French culinary herbs mix, Herbes de Provence.
